For Google Webmaster Tool (GWT) and iGoogle users.
Yesterday, Google released a new gadget interface for all your GWT data. The gadgets work on your iGoogle page. There are a few clicks to get started, but after going through the process you will have a new tab with all your data on one screen - a nice feature for busy web workers!
The gadget is really a group of gadgets; one for each major statistic in GWT. The data displayed in your iGoogle tab are:
- Crawl Errors
- Content Analysis
- Top Search Queries
- Subscriber Stats
- What Googlebot sees
- External links
- Internal links
- Sitelinks
- Visit Webmaster Tools and select any site that you've validated from the dashboard.
- Click on the Tools section.
- Click on Gadgets sub-section.
- Click on the big "Add an iGoogle Webmaster Tools homepage" button.
- Click the "Add to Google" button on the following confirm page to add the new tab to iGoogle.
- Now you're in iGoogle, where you should see your new Google Webmaster Tools tab with a number of Gadgets. Enjoy!
One problem with the gadgets: for some reason they default to the first site in your list. So therefore, if you use GWT to track data for more than one site-but you primarily work with the third site on your list-each time you open up the tab you have to change the defaults. It would be nice if it remembered what site you were on last.

Looks fairly cool from reading the Google Webmaster Blog. Only problem is I don't use iGoogle and probably never will. I did read this rather negative take on the release.
When they make a widget for Netvibes then we're cooking with jet fuel! :)
